The surface of our lampshades is treated by hand with a natural water-based wax glaze. This creates an open-pore protection where the wood grain still stands out and the surface remains permeable to water vapor. The glaze we use is made exclusively from sustainable raw materials under all aspects of environmental protection and health. For our color variants, we use lightfast earth, mineral and spinel pigments to tint the wax glaze.
