Already for more than a decade, two cats enrich our home. As a manufacturer of self-designed products, it was therefore obvious that we make the two a cozy place to sleep.
Since it is completely type-dependent whether a cat prefers to lie in a cuddly den or in a basket, our little bed should combine both as far as possible: a light canopy that provides security and yet so much free space that the cat has a good view of what's going on around him.
The geometric shape of an icosahedron seemed almost perfect for us. So that's how our cat basket "PLATON" came into being - a stable cat bed that is nevertheless somewhat movable in itself like a basket and thus gives our four-legged friends a cozy feeling.
Cats like it cuddly. However, it is also type-dependent, as the pad should be (material, shape, etc.). Therefore, we deliver our "PLATON" without pad.
"PLATON mini" is suitable for small cats up to 3.5 kg. For medium-sized congeners up to 5.5 kg, the "PLATON maxi" was created. We ourselves have both variants at home in use and it can not be avoided to this day that our tomcat likes to fill sometimes the "PLATON mini".
Our experiences and considerations are of course no guarantee that your four-legged friends will accept "PLATON". A lot of factors play into this, such as installation location, room temperature and humidity, volume and sunlight. There helps try and above all read.
The parts for our "PLATON" are manufactured by laser processing in our own production. The wood is completely natural and the inside and outside are sanded.
