The tradition of the guilds goes back to the Middle Ages. At that time, craftsmen organized themselves within the various guilds to represent their common interests. With the guild signs they symbolized their occupation and community conception.
Even though the guilds in Germany were abolished in the middle of the 19th century, many craftsmen and guilds still symbolize the craft to which they belong with a guild sign or coat of arms.
Show which craft is yours with our coats of arms! We manufacture these from 3 mm thick, sanded birch wood. All guild signs have a diameter of 8 cm and are provided with an eyelet at the top end, to hang them for example decoratively in the car, on a door wreath or even on the Christmas tree.
